A Place To Call Home Gala
On April 18, 2024, the National Public Housing Museum will host our inaugural A Place to Call Home gala. This fundraiser will support and celebrate the museum at a pivotal time—as we are on the cusp of opening in our long-awaited permanent museum home.
The National Public Housing Museum is the only museum that interprets the American experience in public housing. Our mission is to preserve, promote, and propel the right of all people to a place to call home. Through groundbreaking exhibitions, programs that deploy arts and culture to explore public policy, and a growing archive of oral histories, we build understanding of housing insecurity and inspire collective solutions.
Our gala will be a joyful “evening of good times,” gathering cultural luminaries, business leaders, philanthropists, and public housing community members in a celebration of “home.” Expect hands-on creative stations, homestyle food, stirring presentations, and good company in the welcoming setting of Morgan Manufacturing in Chicago’s West Loop. Legendary rapper Roxanne Shanté will be our emcee, ushering us through an unforgettable evening.
We are seeking sponsors who boldly share our belief that housing is a human right. We ask you to partner with us as a sponsor and make a meaningful impact on Chicago’s next cultural destination. Please see the deck below for sponsorship levels and benefits.
